In 2016, Xianghai Group responded to the governments call for industrial transformation and upgrading, expanding its business scope by investing 1.5 billion yuan in phases to establish Guangdong Xianghai Optronics Technology Co., Ltd. and entering the optoelectronic R&D and manufacturing sector. Today, Xianghai Optronics has grown into a leading enterprise among national private peers in the industry, earning recognition as a "National High-Tech Enterprise" and a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Enterprise."
In its early stages, Guangdong Xianghai Optronics Technology Co., Ltd. was located in the Lishui Town New Materials Industrial Base at the northern border of Guangzhou and Foshan. It provided OEM and ODM processing services for OC panels, including the production and sales of liquid crystal display panels, display screens, monitors, and other electronic products. The company boasts an experienced team of elite management and technical professionals, equipped with multiple imported advanced devices and practical patents. With a product yield rate of 99.8% and an annual production capacity of 3 million sets, it creates sustained added value for customers through excellent quality, highly competitive pricing, industry-leading manufacturing technology, and a superior service support system.
In 2022, to align with the companys development plans, Guangdong Xianghai Optronics Technology (Yunfu) Co., Ltd.—an optoelectronic industrial base invested and constructed by Guangdong Xianghai Optronics Technology Co., Ltd.—was officially established. The project is located in the Xinchuang Park of Yunfu New District, covering 300 mu of land with a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan. It aims to build a production base for 20 million display modules annually, featuring 15 production lines primarily manufacturing display modules in various models ranging from 35 to 86 inches. The project was completed and put into operation in 2023, with an expected annual output value of 6 billion yuan and the capacity to provide 1,500 job opportunities.
In the future, the group will deepen cooperation across the upstream and downstream sectors of the optoelectronic industry chain, strengthen independent R&D efforts, promote integrated industry-academia-research development, and contribute to the leapfrog advancement of Chinas display panel industry.
